OVERVIEW
Forms of mass transit such as city buses and trains require a different type of extrication. That’s why Genesis developed the right tool for the job. The Mass Transit Cutter, MTC 230, provides rescue personnel the ability to make successive straight cuts into the sidewall of any bus or rail car. This unique innovation can give rescue personnel the advantage in bus or passenger train extrication.
Constructed of high strength, aircraft grade, aluminum alloy forgings with a wear resistant anodized finish. The blades are forged steel. Each control has a built in over-pressurization relief device. This device prevents catastrophic tool failures when couplers are not connected properly.
