Forest Lite™ Type 2 is a single jacket, polyurethane lined lightweight hose intended for use in wildland fire suppression
The jacket is a combination of 100% virgin synthetic high tenacity virgin synthetic yarn and spun yarn. The jacket is thoroughly impregnated with a polymer compound, yellow in color, to provide superior resistance to chemicals, abrasion and ultra-violet light. Hose shall be firm in texture, flexible and free from knots, lumps and irregularities. The jacket shall be treated to be resistant to mildew.
The Thermoplastic extruded PU interior lining shall be a single-ply extruded tube and shall be unaffected by ozone. The finished form shall be free of pits or other imperfections and shall have a smooth finish. No reclaimed material shall be used.
Meets or exceeds National Fire Products Association (NFPA) 1961 Standard on Fire Hose (current edition) as well as U.S. Forest Service F-187 standard.
Available in 1″ diameter with 1″ NST coupling in either 50 or 100′ sections
