Zoll AED Plus Automatic External Defibrillator Adult D Pads

Zoll AED Plus Automatic External Defibrillator Adult D Pads

$169.00

OVERVIEW

While the majority of AED pads come with one set of electrodes on two pads that must quickly be placed on the Sternum and Apex of a SCA victim, Zoll knew there must be an easier way. In order to help eliminate confusion and speed up the rescue process, the CPR-D padz were invented. A rescuer need only open up the padz package and place the pre-connected electrode directly in the center of the cardiac arrest victim’s chest. No confusion, no mistakes.

This unique one-piece pad incorporates a pressure sensor, known as a “puck,” which allows the rescuer to know in real-time the effectiveness of his CPR compressions and modify his technique accordingly. Compression depth is shown on the Zoll AED Plus’s LCD screen. The AED Plus also responds with voice prompts that gives the rescuer immediate feedback such as “Good Compressions” or “Push Harder.” This advanced technology is enormously significant since most lay people do not compress to the AHA’s recommended depth of 2“.Additionally, the CPR-D Padz don’t just have advanced features, they are also easily maintained. With a shelf-life expiration date and battery expiration date of five (5) years.

Description

ONE ELECTRODE PAD IS EASIER THAN TWO

Zoll’s Full-Rescue AEDs feature CPR-D-padz, a one-piece, pre-connected electrode with Real CPR Help feedback.

Ordinary AEDs require that the rescuer use two separate electrodes. By using CPR hand placement as the landmark, it is easy to place the CPR-D-padz on the victim quickly. The CPR-D-padz also lasts five years-the longest shelf life of any defibrillator electrode sold today.

REAL CPR HELP

Inadequate compression rate and depth are common during CPR. Adult victims need at least 100 compressions per minute and at a depth of at least 2 inches (5 cm). Compressions must be done well to effectively move blood and oxygen.

The ZOLL AED Plus  converts compression data instantaneously from the CPR-D-padz and provides an adaptive metronome to help the rescuer with the proper rate and depth, saying “Push harder” or “Good compressions,” as needed. It also shows CPR compression depth on the display screen. ZOLL’s AED Plus is the only AED that helps the rescuer achieve the correct rate and depth of chest compressions during CPR. No other AED has this capability.

Five (5) year shelf life
